These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the services provided by Muss Come Couriers Limited ("MCC", "we", "us", or "our"). By registering for an account or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Muss Come Couriers Limited is a courier and freight forwarding company operating in Jamaica. We provide air freight, sea freight, home delivery and related services, including the use of a US shipping address and access to our credit card shopping service.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Not use the service for any unlawful purpose

3. US Shipping Address

Upon registration, members are assigned a unique US shipping address. This address is to be used solely for shipping personal purchases to Jamaica via MCC. The address must not be:

  • Used for commercial or business importation without prior written approval
  • Shared with non-members
  • Used for fraudulent, illegal, or prohibited goods

MCC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your address if it is misused.

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped through MCC:

  • Firearms, ammunition and weapons of any kind
  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
  • Counterfeit or pirated goods
  • Live animals or perishable food items
  • Any item prohibited by Jamaican Customs or US export regulations

Shipments containing prohibited items will be held, seized, or returned at the member's expense. MCC will cooperate fully with relevant authorities.

5. Shipping Rates & Fees

  • All rates are billed per pound per package in Jamaican Dollars (JMD)
  • Package weight is based on a weight range, not exact weight
  • Rates are subject to change without prior notice
  • Additional fees may apply for oversized, fragile, or special-handling items
  • Delivery fees vary by location and are separate from freight charges
  • All fees must be paid in full before packages are released

6. Credit Card Shopping Service

MCC offers members the ability to shop online using a company credit card on their behalf. By using this service, you agree that:

  • Full payment must be made to MCC before any purchase is processed
  • MCC is not responsible for order errors, delivery delays, or product quality issues from the retailer
  • Refunds from retailers will be processed and returned to you at MCC's discretion, minus any applicable fees
  • This service is available at MCC's sole discretion and may be withdrawn at any time

7. Tax-Free Shopping

Members may be eligible to shop from certain US retailers without paying US sales tax by using their assigned MCC US address. MCC makes no guarantee of tax exemption, as eligibility depends on the retailer and the state in which the MCC warehouse is located. Members are solely responsible for compliance with all Jamaican customs duties and import taxes on goods received.

8. Customs & Duties

All packages entering Jamaica are subject to Jamaican Customs regulations. Members are responsible for:

  • Paying all applicable customs duties, GCT and import taxes
  • Ensuring imported goods comply with Jamaican law
  • Providing accurate item descriptions and values when requested

MCC is not liable for delays, fines, or seizures caused by customs authorities.

9. Package Handling & Liability

MCC takes care in handling all packages; however:

  • MCC is not liable for damage caused by inadequate original packaging from the retailer
  • Claims for lost or damaged packages must be reported within 7 days of the expected delivery date
  • MCC's maximum liability for any lost package is limited to the shipping fee paid for that package
  • MCC is not responsible for losses arising from delays caused by airlines, customs, or circumstances beyond our control

10. Flight Schedule & Delivery Times

MCC currently operates five (5) flights per week. Quoted delivery times of 2–3 days are estimates based on normal operating conditions and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to flight schedules, customs processing, public holidays, or other factors outside MCC's control.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

MCC reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:

  • Violate any of these Terms and Conditions
  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Have an outstanding unpaid balance

Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain payable.

12. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used solely for the purpose of providing our courier services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required by law or to facilitate the shipping of your packages. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described.

13. Changes to These Terms

MCC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jamaica.
